Set a custom domain

How to set a custom domain

Log in to your bCast account.

Click your podcast;

And you will reroute to the page below and then click “Website” and you will be directed to the next image below.

You should paste in the custom domain into the "Custom domain" section on this page and set your website to “live”.

You will now need to log into your domain registrar, locate the chosen domain and then add the following DNS records:

  • For a subdomain (e.g podcast.mydomain.com), create a DNS CNAME record with value domains.bcast.fm.
  • For a root domain (e.g mydomain.com), create a DNS ALIAS record with value domains.bcast.fm.

DNS changes can take some time to propagate.

You also have the ability to show and hide your “show notes” and before you save it you can also have the ability to see the preview of your site by clicking “Go To Website”.

Once you are done, you can now save your website.

And now we are done creating a custom domain.
